The Quiet Place
Good night, voice,
Good night, smile,
For in this place, you shall not be mine.
Good night, thoughts,
Good night, light,
For this, The Quiet Place, cannot handle you.
Good night and we shall meet again,
When I am freed from the ropes that bind me,
We shall meet again,
When my feet touch a ground, in which, I can scream.
We shall meet elsewhere,
For in this place, you are forbidden,
You're too loud,
We shall meet again and I will set you free,
From the ropes that tie you to the ground.
We shall meet again and I will find the keys I threw away,
We shall meet again and I will find you,
Release you from my fingertips to the blue sky,
Let you roam over the seas like a white raven,
Engulf the night sky like the silver moon,
And lay your eggs on my rightful left palm.
Maybe one day these chains will be useful to me,
Maybe silence won't be so deafening,
Maybe I'll break the glass and let the monsters come take
me,
Or maybe I'll just give birth, in silence.
I shall not express to you, my love,
I shall not express my joys,
I shall not raise my voice in divergence,
I shall stay inside the box of black and white.
I shall let you go, to keep you,
For in this place, we shall depart,
I shall let you hide, to find you,
For I will, when our time is right.
I shall cast you north for now, my love,
For our paths may once again align,
I shall set you free, my dear,
For in this Quiet Place, I can't have you as mine.
